On November 25, 2020, Professor Laure Delcour (University Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris, France and College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium) delivered an online guest lecture for students of the MA Programme 'Comparative Politics of Eurasia' on the topic 'Perceptions of the European Union in the South Caucasus'.
On the 19th of November, Michael North presented a public lecture in the laboratory of environmental and technological history. He shared the results of his recent study on the Baltic Sea as a borderland.

Andrea Matozzi introduced a model of turnout where social norms, strategically chosen by competing political parties, determine voters' turnout. Social norms must be enforced through costly peer monitoring and punishment. When the cost of enforcement of social norms is low, the larger party is always advantaged.
