Application Evaluation Criteria
KEY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SUPPORTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE HSE TEACHING EXCELLENCE INITIATIVE:
- A visiting scholar should have teaching experience at leading global universities as part of similar programmes, as well as experience in organizing workshops, seminars, and lectures for instructors;
- A visiting scholar should confirm his or her intention to organize a workshop at HSE, as well as consent to the invitation terms and conditions by filling in this template form.
- Workshop and lecture objectives should align with the development goals of relevant degree programmes and faculties;
- An inviting programme/faculty should include a post-meeting into the program of the visit to discuss and reflect on presented teaching strategies and methods and/or the possibility of integration of new topics into the course program, etc.
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA INCLUDE:
- A preliminary list of participants wishing to attend workshops (lectures) from among HSE staff and doctoral students;
- Co-financing provided by the host programme or department;
- The invited scholar must be from a partner university or from a university aiming to develop a partnership with HSE; affiliation with Teaching & Learning Centers is desirable.
